On the 1441 Broadway (aka 10 Times Square) project, CMI supplied and installed a dual-span structural glass wall storefront system on an existing office building. The project required an extensive survey of the existing steel structural support members prior to the demolition phase, which was achieved through the use of building probes. The all-glass wall system utilized 3 and 4-ply glass fins for structural support in lieu of aluminum mullions. CMI was responsible for all glass and steel attachment work, as well as the supply and installation of balanced doors and revolving doors at entrances and a stainless steel canopy over the main entrance. The project was granted a 20-year VIP labor & material sealant warranty by Dow Corning.
